Funeral services for Roger Dale Mills will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at Hope Well Baptist Church. Brother Arthur Bowling and Preacher Scotty Jewel will be officiating. Interment will follow in Goose Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M until 10:00 P.M on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Hope Well Baptist Church.
Roger Dale Mills age 57, of Lexington, Kentucky departed this life of Friday. July 17, 2026, at JWCC Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, Kentucky. He was of the Baptist faith.
Roger was born on March 10, 1969, in Manchester, Kentucky, to Benny and Sarah Lunsford Mills.
Along with his parents; Benny and Sarah Mills, Roger was also preceded in death by a stepmother; Sylvia Brumley, brother; Benny Mills Jr., His grandparents; Edna and Kelly Mills.
Roger leaves behind a son, Jordan Duncil and wife Baileigh, daughter; Sarah Mills, and Matthew Rogers, whom he loved like his own. His special friend Sandra Hibbard, children; Gary (Mary) Hibbard, Jessica Dominguez, Tim (Opal) Rogers, Tosha Hibbard and Cristal Hibbard, twelve grandchildren, one sister; Kathy Mills, a half-sister; Robbie James, half-brothers; Benjamin Brumley, Woody Brumley, Billy Brumley, and Terry Brumley, a host of other family and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.
The family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
