Louisville, KY - Kimberly Heitzman (Warren), born December 26, 1966, in Hinkle, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest after a courageous and inspiring 17-year battle with cancer. Through it all, Kimberly faced life with a bright spirit and a beautiful, defiant optimism that never wavered.
She retired from Ford Motor Company and was known as someone who could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. Her strength and sense of humor were unmatched. She carried a profound love for God, letting His light guide the way she loved and cared for others.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, James Warren, and her brother, James Warren Jr. (Jamie).
She is survived by her children, Tiffany Heitzman, Chastity Heitzman, Caleb Heitzman, Nia Cole, and Noah Cole; her eight grandchildren, Keeli Webster, Lydiyah Webster, Nollie Greer, Nova Greer, Emilio Hernandez, Jayceon Taylor, Nadia Taylor, and Trinity Peyton; her devoted mother, Bertha Warren; her brother, Gene Warren; and her sister, Sherry Smith (Warren).
Funeral services for Kimberly will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home chapel on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
