Funeral service for Billy Ray Smith will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 1:00 P.M in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Pastor Jessie Henson and Pastor George Davidson will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until 1:00 P.M at the funeral home.
Billy Ray Smith, age 63, of Manchester, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday June 14, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Billy was born March 12, 1963, in Manchester, Kentucky to Paul Smith and Essie Whitehead Smith. Billy was a member of the Manchester Church of God.
Along with his father Paul Smith, Billy was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Burton.
Billy leaves behind his loving wife, Sharon Williams Smith, six children, Rodney Smith and wife Mona Katherine, Brandon Ray Smith and wife Keirston Paige, Billy Jay Smith and wife Danielle Lynn, Jacob Alex Smith, Colby Dylan Smith, Matthew Isaiah Smith, and Paul Barrier, 11 grandchildren, one brother, David Paul Smith, two sisters, Lisa Carol Wilson and Barbara Williams, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends to miss him and to mourn his passing.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Smith, Brandon Smith, Billy Jay Smith, Travis Bush, Noah Smith and other relatives and friends.
