Students Learn Boone Trace History from the Experts

In a continuing celebration of the history of Boone Trace, a special event was held in front of the Knox County Courthouse on Monday, May 19. 
Live music was performed before Sergeant First Class Tony Parsons and his JROTC students marched through the Square, followed by the Boone reenactors. 
Dr. John Fox and the America 250 group were present at both events, and gave a speech about the history of Boone Trace and the creation of America, up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
