Mashaela Rae Jones, 27, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026. She was born July 9, 1999, in Corbin.
Mashaela was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Ray and Frances Jones.
Survivors include her mother, Michelle Jones of Corbin, Kentucky; father, Larry Michael Jones, Jr., of Houston, Texas; uncle, Kevin Jones of Corbin, Kentucky; uncle, Kyle Jones (Stacy) of Corbin, Kentucky; three cousins: Chelsea Ross (Tyler), Payton Jones, and Lake Wyatt Jones, along with other relatives and friends.
Mashaela loved her family and friends and showed her love through her compassionate spirit. She was always willing to give of herself to help those she loved and was a special caregiver to her mother.
Mashaela was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Paula Farmer officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
