Funeral services for Kevin Lee Mackey will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 1:00 P.M at The Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Danny Powers will be officiating. Interment will follow in Speed and Arlene Hamblin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home.
The family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Kevin Lee Mackey age 67, of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Corbin, Kentucky. He was a member of the Apostolici lighthouse.
Kevin was born on January 8, 1958, in Michigan, to the late Edward and Kathleen (Katey) Davis Mackey.
Along with his parents Edward and Kathleen Davis Mackey, Kevin was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny Mackey and Kelly Edward Mackey.
Kevin leaves behind one brother, Kirk Mackey and wife Michell; special cousins, Donald Powers and wife Margeret; Danny Powers and wife Elaine; Shirley Brooks and husband Dennis; Ronnie Powers and Roger Powers Aunt Marry and husband Mike West, and other family from Michigan, Georgia, and Kentucky that was very special to Kevin and many other friends and family to morn his passing.
