Mr. Jamie Ray Hobbs, 55, of Stanford, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 29, 2026 at Stanford Crossing. He was born November 29, 1970 in Pineville, the son of the late George E. and Betty Jean Broughton Hobbs.
Jamie enjoyed fishing, being with family and was an avid UK basketball fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Willie Hobbs.
Survivors include his siblings, Sheila Weatherington of Lakeland, FL, Lillie Smith and husband, Jay, and Bessie Hobbs all of Hinkle, Alice Grubbs and husband, Ronnie, of Himyar, Glenn Hobbs of Pineville, Edward Hobbs and wife, Andrea, of Barbourville and Clarence Hobbs of Hinkle; several nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, November 7 at 2 P.M. He will be laid to rest in the Broughton Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
