Ernest Hubert Collins Sr., age 63 of Georgetown, Kentucky departed on Friday, April 24, 2026, at his home.
Ernest was born January 4, 1963, in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Ben and Ella Mills Collins.
Along with his parents Ben and Ella, Ernest was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Scalf.
Ernest leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Janice Samples Collins, two children, Ernest Hubert Collins Jr., and Tosha Collins (Chris Sudduth), four grandchildren, Angel Marie Collins, Benjamin Augustus Collins, Ava Grace Collins, and Ellie Elizabeth Collins, one brother, James Collins (Ruby), numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends to miss him and to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Ernest Hubert Collins will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of The Barbourville Funeral Home. Brother Mike Collins will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Collins cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at The Barbourville Funeral Home.
