A bi-partisan Meet the Candidates auction at Knox Central High School last Friday was just one of many such events that have already taken place, and is scheduled to take place, over the course of the Primary election. Knox County Clerk Mike Corey emcees the events. Corey’s position as County Clerk also has him overseeing all elections in Knox County. The auctions of cakes, pies and other sweet treats serve as a fundraiser for the hosting institution.
