Students from Lynn Camp High School’s Jobs for America’s Graduates program claimed two first-place finishes at the state JAG competition, earning the right to represent Kentucky at the national conference in Utah.
Lauren Partin, Cooper Mills, Katie Mills and Bailey Martin took first place in the Creative Decision Making category. Bella Jacobs won first place in the Promotional Video competition.
JAG advisor Nikki Hendrix guided the students through the competition season. School officials credited her leadership and preparation as instrumental in the team’s success.
Lynn Camp’s JAG chapter will next compete at the national JAG Career Development Conference, which will be held in Utah.
JAG is a national nonprofit organization that helps students develop career readiness and life skills. The program operates in high schools across the country and culminates each year in state and national student competitions.
