Local Support Shines at Cram The Cruiser

A Kentucky State Police “Cram the Cruiser” food drive reached record success this year thanks to cooperation between KSP and Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith, his wife, Gina, and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
The annual event, sponsored by KSP, collects nonperishable food items to support local families during the holiday season. This year’s turnout produced more donations than ever before.
All food collected will be delivered to a local church, where volunteers will prepare holiday meals and assemble food boxes for families in need.
Organizers expressed appreciation for every resident who stopped by, whether to donate or to visit with law enforcement personnel. They said the effort reflects a shared commitment to serving and giving back to the community and credited local participation for helping make a difference.
