The GFWC Kentucky Barbourville Junior Woman’s Study Club is proud to be the sole sponsor of the Barbourville Home Guard Flag Restoration Project, so it can be protected and preserved with Smithsonian grade restoration processes for future generations to come. This flag is not just a relic - it’s a tangible connection to our town’s values, our ancestors’ bravery, and our community’s place in the story of America. It embodies what Barbourville stood for then - unity, sacrifice, and hope.
