The demolition crew from Spirtas Wrecking Company has arrived to begin taking down the collapsing, historic building at the corner of Knox and Liberty Street. The structure, known by many names such as the Dixon building, old Union National Bank, and the Parker Mercantile building, suffered a catastrophic structural collapse in June 2021.
