More charges have been filed in the case of a Knox County man who admitted in police interviews to soliciting explicit sexual images of a woman and her child.
Bradley Kyle Yeager, 35, was arrested at his Heidrick home on Sunday, May 3, 2026 and charged with charges of possessing and procuring sexual images of a minor and procuring or promoting use of a minor by electronic means. He was given a $50,000 cash plus home incarceration bond, and was released Tuesday, May 5.
Kentucky State Police arrested Yeager again on Tuesday, this time with upgrade charges including Promoting Human Trafficking (victim under 18 years of age) and Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Minor Under the Age of 18. Yeager is now held once again in the Knox County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
The story with Yeager’s arrest on Sunday by Barbourville Police, in coordination with Laurel County Public Schools, on charges of possessing and procuring sexual images of a minor took a darker turn with the arrest of a second individual on Monday.
Yeager, a Special Education teacher at South Laurel High School and coach of the boys and girls swim team, admitted in a post-Miranda rights interview with Barbourville Police that he solicited the images from Rachel Baker, 22 of Bimble, in exchange for money. The explicit material Yeager admitted to soliciting were of Baker and her young child. The citation for Yeager’s arrest states the criminal complaint came from Baker.
Laurel County Public Schools issued a statement Sunday that Yeager’s employment was suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.
Baker was arrested on Monday, May 4 by Barbourville Police, leading to charges of Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor under the age of 12 and Distribution of Matter Portraying the Sexual Performance by a Minor under the age of 12. Her charges were upgraded as well to include Promoting Human Trafficking (victim under 18 years of age) and Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Minor Under Age of 18.
The exact nature of Baker’s relationship with Yeager is not currently available information; however, it is known the two have a history where she has a former student/mentor situation with Yeager.
During a post-Miranda rights police interview, Baker admitted that on several occasions she had taken nude photographs of herself and her child, dating back to the child being one year of age. She said she sent the material to Yeager after he requested them for sexual gratification.
Since the story of Yeager’s arrest, and later Baker’s, several former students shared on social media their past alleged experiences with Yeager while he was previously employed in other school districts. While the comments are publicly viewable on social media, The Mountain Advocate’s policy is to withhold from publishing the identity of victims of sex crimes.
Yeager was held on a $50,000 cash plus home incarceration bond and was released on Tuesday, May 5 before he was arrested again on new charges by Kentucky State Police. Yeager is scheduled to appear in Knox District Court on May 12 on his original charges. Court information relating to the new charges have not yet been made available.
Baker was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center and is held on a $25,000 cash bond with arraignment scheduled for May 7 in Knox District Court. Despite additional charges on Baker, her bond amount has not increased as of Wednesday morning, May 6.
The ongoing investigation was conducted by Chief Adam Townsley, PTL. Chase Henson, and Laurel County Schools Police Chief Jessie Williams. The Barbourville Police Department was assisted in the execution of the search warrant by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and is assisted in the investigation by Kentucky State Police.
