Jr. Woman’s Study Club Members Attend ‘Summer Summit 2.0’
The GFWC Kentucky Barbourville Junior Woman’s Study Club attended the Summer Summit 2.0 - Finding the Leadership In All We Do at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Lexington on July 18 -19. The leadership training was planned & given by GFWC-Kentucky President, Amy Mason and her Executive Committee. The ladies were inspired by all the speakers and especially Juliet Casper, GFWC International Treasurer on Leadership as Legacy. The seven club women who attended were: Chrissi Cuel, Sherri Hammons, Ann Banfield, Anne Pedersen, Jimberly Jordan, Preshus Howard, & Cyndi Early. It was a wonderful weekend of fellowship and learning. They can’t wait to share all the new ideas and hands on projects that they had learned with their fellow club ladies in the new club year.
A healthy Knox County requires great community news.
