Obituary - Anthony Kenneth Liford
July 13, 2025

Mr. Anthony Kenneth Liford, 49, of Hinkle, passed away Thursday morning, July 10, 2025 at his home. He was born April 28, 1976 in Pineville, the son of Gary Liford and the late Elaine Hubbard Collinsworth.
Anthony was a man of many talents and passions. He was a true handyman and could often be found with tools in hand, whether he was under the hood of a vehicle, tackling a new project at their lakefront property in Tennessee or lending a hand wherever it was needed. He loved to travel and never passed up the chance to explore new places, even though his strong work ethic made it hard for him to step away from The Oven Mitt. One of his greatest joys was riding his Harley. He and Tonya, along with their close-knit group, cherished their time on the open road riding together wherever their journey led them.
On February 1, 2011, he united in marriage with Tonya Miles.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Lynn Wright.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tonya Liford of Hinkle; father, Gary Liford of Heidrick; children, Austin Brown of Detroit, MI, Hannah Rice and husband, Jacob, of Stanford, Trenton Schall and Ashton of Corbin and Bryleigh Mills of Hinkle; brothers, Gary “Buddy” Liford of Heidrick; grandchildren, Scarlett and Harley Rice; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, July 15 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Keith “Buster” Liford, Rev. Gary Miles and Rev. Valerie McCann officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Payne Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Trenton Schall, Jacob Rice, Gary Liford, Johnny Phillips, James McCann and Hugh Jones.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
