Hoffman Wins Ky. S3DA 3D State Championship Also Named Shooter of the Year, and Third in Nation
Sadie Hoffman capped off a dominant stretch in the Scholastic 3D Archery (S3DA) circuit by winning the Kentucky S3DA 3D State Championship, earning Shooter of the Year honors, and finishing third in the nation — all within two weekends.
Hoffman, competing in her first year in the Young Adult Open class, surged to the top of the podium at the state championship, delivering a near-flawless performance to secure the title. Her victory also clinched her the prestigious Shooter of the Year designation, awarded to the top competitor across the season.
The following weekend, Hoffman continued her strong run at the national championship. Facing elite competition, she delivered under pressure, landing three 14-point bonus rings in the shoot-downs to earn a third-place national finish.
Her impressive performance on the national stage earned her multiple college scholarship opportunities, marking a significant milestone in her archery career.
This breakout season solidifies Hoffman’s status as one of the rising stars in competitive archery.
A healthy Knox County requires great community news.
