Obituary - Jamie DeLynn “Lynn” Jewell

Jamie DeLynn “Lynn” Jewell, age 55, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at home with loving family by her side. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on April 30, 1970. During Jamie’s career, she enjoyed working at Burger King and McDonald’s, and more recently at Dollar General. 

In addition to her mother, Edna (Hix) Vitale, Jamie was preceded in death by her siblings, Janie Mills, Jeff Arthur, and Lisa Jett. Jamie is survived by her husband of 26 years, Doug Robbins; stepfather, Steve (Debbie) Vitale; 2 sons, Randy Mills and Cory Robbins; 10 grandchildren; 2 step brothers, Jason (Marifi) Vitale and Tony (Tabata) Vitale; numerous nieces and nephews. 

A visitation was held for Jamie on Tuesday July 1, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Road, Germantown, Ohio.  On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, a second visitation for Jamie, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, and funeral service, 1:00 PM, was held at Hopper Funeral Home, 302 North Broadway, Barbourville, Kentucky. Interment followed the funeral service in Smith Family Cemetery, Barbourville, Kentucky. 

 The Hopper family, Victoria Hopper and Sally Hopper, and the staff of Hopper Funeral Home, Mr. Robin Reese, Mr. Reid Brewer, Mrs. Lorena Blankenship, and Mrs. Brenda Johnson, express sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jamie DeLynn "Lynn" Jewell.
