Obituary - Lonnie Wilson

Mr. Lonnie Wilson, 53, of Corbin, passed away Monday evening, June 30, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of Martha Sue Broughton Wilson and the late Lonnie B. Wilson.
Lonnie loved being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and spent much of his free time riding his motorcycle and listening to rock music. His interest in nature led him to join the Pine Mountain Grotto, where they explored local caves together. Lonnie worked as a delivery driver for Astral Caskets and took pride in his job.
On September 19, 1992 he united in marriage with Jeannie Chantay Hibbard and to this union a daughter was born.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie Wilson and father, Lonnie B. Wilson.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Amber Nicole Wilson of Corbin; mother, Martha Sue Wilson of Barbourville; sisters, Holly Beth Helton and husband, Tyler, of Barbourville and Tammy Lynette Diamond and husband, Dave, of Clinton, TN; nephews, Colson Tye Helton and Hunter Bargo; niece, Hope Ritchie; great-nieces, Avery Coffman and Bree Ritchie; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, July 6 between 2 and 4 P.M.
