Obituary - Rachel Mae Donnelly

Mrs. Rachel Mae Donnelly, 76, of Corbin, passed away Friday morning, June 20, 2025 at Baptist Health Corbin.  She was born May 31, 1949 in Hamilton, OH, the daughter of the late Eness and Pauline Settles Wagers.

Rachel was a homemaker and a member of the Boone Height Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and singing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dora Jean Collins; grandson, Brandon Saunders; sister, Louise Wagers and brothers, Billy Gene, Larry Neal and Thomas Cecil Wagers.

Survivors include her three sons, Eness Collins of Barbourville, Jeff Collins and John Collins and wife, Sheri, all of Corbin; a sister, Lela Margaret Vance of Hamilton, OH; a brother, Paul Ray Wagers of Hamilton, OH; grandchildren, Steven, John H. and Albert Saunders and Tyler and J. J. Collins and Brandon, Gage and Kaylee Tucker; eight great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Boone Height Pentecostal Church Wednesday, July 2 at 6 P.M. with Rev. Charles Henson officiating.

Family and friends will gather at the church Wednesday, July 2 after 5 P.M. until the service time.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
