Huge Outdoor Gospel Concert Coming to Roadside Baptist

The Boone Heights community will be filled with the sounds of gospel music next month.

On Saturday, July 5, an outdoor gospel singing will occur at Roadside Baptist Church, located off Ky. 3439 about a half mile from Parkway Plaza and Walmart.

The singing will take place on an outdoor stage in a field behind the church. The event, which begins at 12 p.m., will feature free hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and hats. Tents will be provided to shield some from the hot sun.

The day will feature 27 special guests from 15 local churches, joining to worship in song, among the singers listed: Anna Siler, Joshua Collins, Donna Calloway, Mary Gambrell, Pat Hacker, Penny Norman, Colin Smith, Peggy Retherford, Autumn Ford, Thomasa Risner, Isaiah Patterson, Cindy Jordan, Heather Casey, Whitley Jordan, Crystle Inman, Finley Murphy, Donna Irene Marler, Dawn Whittamore, Billy Smith, Teresa Davenport, Dalton Gray, Sheila Franklin, Tom Retherford, Garnett Barrett, Susie Childers, Paula Messer, Derrick C. Mills, Kim Hensley, and Mercede Hall.
