Obituary - Shirley Sizemore

Shirley Sizemore, age 75 of Flat Lick, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in the St. Joseph Hospital in London. She was born on February 5, 1950, in Clay County, Kentucky and was the daughter of Edward Sizemore and Alice Peace Sizemore. Shirley was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.

Left behind to mourn her passing, a host of family and friends including Ashley and husband Kevin Minton of London, Mae Darnell and friend Eugene Sharp of Corbin, Debbie and husband John Smith of Barbourville, Jonathon Smith and fiance’ Latosha of Corbin, Rev. Larry Sizemore and wife Ollie of Flat Lick and Roger Sizemore of Tennessee.

Funeral services for Shirley were conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Sizemore and Rev. Anthony Mayo officiating. She was laid to rest in the Sizemore Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were family and friends. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Friends were received at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
