ARMED AND DANGEROUS: SUSPECT NAMED IN STINKING CREEK SHOOTING

A suspect has been identified in the Thursday, May 8 shooting in the Stinking Creek community. Knox County Sheriff's Deputies are actively searching for Daniel Edwards, 42, of Knox County. Edwards is described as a White male, 6' tall, 230 lbs. with a shaved head and full neck of tattoos along with several on his arms.
Edwards is considered armed and dangerous, and the public is encouraged to NOT approach him.

The Thursday shooting at Big Creek in the Stinking Creek community left one individual with two gunshots. The victim was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment. The victim's condition is unknown at this time.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by Kentucky State Police and U.S. Marshals.
