Knox Central’s search for a Girls’ Basketball coach is over.
Amanda Vermillion, as of Monday, July 18, has been named Head Coach of the Knox Central Girls’ Basketball team.
“It is a school with good athletes,” Vermillion shared, “I cannot wait to see what combinations we come up with for the season.”
Vermillion is taking the position after Bobby Bowling abruptly resigned in June.
Vermillion was the Head Coach for Williamsburg Independent’s Girls’ Basketball during the past two seasons. Vermillion piled an overall 14 wins, and Knox Central will be her second time coaching at a varsity level.
