Two Knox County people were arrested Christmas Eve for shoplifting at the Corbin Wal-Mart.
A Flat Lick woman was arrested Dec. 24 for shoplifting at the Corbin Wal-mart.
Around 3 a.m. Christmas Eve, Terri Davis, 32, of Flat Lick, was allegedly observed hiding merchandise and attempting to leave the store without paying for it. The store’s loss prevention team detained Davis until Laurel sheriff’s deputies arrived.
Davis was charged with shoplifting and also charged on a bench warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance.
He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Later that same day, about 3 p.m. in an unrelated incident, a Barbourville woman was also detained by the Wal-Mart loss prevention team. After allegedly being observed concealing merchandise on her person and attempting to leave the store,
Beverly Gray, 44, of Barbourville was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
