Corbin went on long scoring runs that Knox Central was unable to defend. The Redhounds rolled off scoring runs of five in the first set, seven in the second set and nine in the third set. Assistant Coach Gregory said, “We have to learn to keep in the game mentally and adjust to hitters and tips.” Notable performers include Kelsey Engle with three attempts, Sadie Harris with three assists, Vinie Price with four digs, Kristen Smith with six digs and Paige Phipps with four digs. The Panthers will be back in action on Sep. 8 when they host a (3-4) Harlan team that just came off an All-A region championship.
