Police release name of shooting victim

Police have officially released the name of a man killed in an early morning shooting.

According to KSP public information officer Trooper Shane Jacobs, said that a preliminary investigation shows that two unknown males armed with guns made entry into a residence on Salt Gum Hollow Road through the front door, identifying themselves as law enforcement.

Once inside, a struggle took place between the homeowner and one of the intruders who then shot the victim, identifed as 29-year-old Donald Mills of Scalf.
