Mountain Advocate publisher Jay Nolan will repel down the Fifth-Third Bank in Lexington to raise money for boy scouts.

Many of you have probably seen a commercial recently on the local Lexington channels that have discussed this year’s “Brave the Blue 3” fundraiser that will take place Wednesday and Thursday, October 8-9.

This year Mountain Advocate’s own Jay Nolan will take his own life into his hands for a great cause. Jay will be repelling 410 feet down the tallest building in Lexington (the Fifth-Third Bank) at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, to help raise money for the Boy Scouts of America.

If you would like to help Jay support scouting, visit www.bravetheblue.com, click on Sponsor and type in Jay Nolan.  All donations are 100% tax deductible and all proceeds collected will support the Boy Scouts of America.
