The summer Olympics in London featured many athletes who were bold about expressing their faith in public. Many demonstrated their faith through Bible studies, prayer, praise and interviews.

TREASURE YOUR LAST WORDS

Kelley, my oldest son died a day after his 39thbirthday December 15, 1995. In my long distance Happy Birthday call we exchanged chit-chat and our love for each other. His last words were, “I’ll see you Christmas, Mom,” but his heart got out of rhythm and he didn’t live to see Christmas 1995. In my state of numbness and unbelief I wrestled with the thought that I had been unable to say a final good-by. Had I know this particular birthday conversation was our final exchange what would we have talked about?

We are urged to 'pray without ceasing'

(I Thessalonians5:7)“Pray without ceasing,” held my husband ‘Pete’s’ attention. “This idea,” he thought, “Is absolutely impossible a person cannot be in prayer continually.” For days Pete tried to make decisions. If you pray when you lay down to sleep would you or could you be in an attitude of prayer during the night?”

How would you act?

Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Oh sometimes it causes me to tremble, tremble tremble. Were you there when they crucified my Lord?
