KCMS eighth graders reach final four
A week after they finished well in the Kentucky Championship Basketball Invitational Tournament, the Knox County Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team reached the final four in the Kentucky Basketball Academy state tournament.

After facing two tough Laurel County teams on Saturday, the Knox Middle School seventh and eighth grade teams took care of business and are headed for championship rounds in the 13th Region Boys Middle School Basketball Tournament held at Whitley County High School.

Barbourville academic team
The sixth grade academic team competed in the Sixth Grade Showcase on December 1st at Whitley Central Intermediate in Williamsburg. The team placed fourth in Quick Recall. Braxton Chafin placed third in social studies and Thea Kate Bailey placed sixth in Arts & Humanities.
