Gray man arrested for meth

A white powder suspected to be meth was found inside the suspect’s gloves.

Deputy Keith Liford stopped a vehicle on Lynn Camp Hollow Road in Gray at approximately 8 a.m. Thursday, February 11. Deputy Liford determined the driver, David Lowe, was under the influence. Deputy Liford, finding Lowe to be under the influence, arrested him. The deputy found two plastic bags containing a large amount of white powder suspected to be Methamphetamine concealed in a pair of gloves on Lowe’s person. Several syringes were also found during the arrest.


Lowe was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
