G.R. Hampton students learn what it takes to run a business

G.R. Hampton Elementary 5th and 6th grade science classes hosted the school’s fourth annual E-Discovery Day Thursday in the school’s gym. The “E” in this case stands for entrepreneur.

“The idea is for the children to learn what it takes to make money,” said teacher Lori Baker, who took the original training class for the program. “They have to apply what they’ve learned in several of their classes in order to be successful in their business.
